  Playing both electric and double bass, I'm a creative musician working in the fields of  jazz, folk / 'world' music [not a term that has much meaning], and contemporary songwriting.

I don't like putting music into categories, something which is becoming more widespread.
People are intelligent enough to figure it out for themselves...
